Sensefinity is co-founder of the new Collaborative Laboratory (CoLAB) Foodlab - Collaborative Laboratory for sustainable food production systems.
The FoodLAB CoLAB, starting next September, will bring together institutions and companies to work on thematic issues relevant to advanced food production techniques with potential for carbon sequestration. The goal is to create a collaborative laboratory where various technologies can be tested (by large companies and emerging companies including startups) to improve food production processes in terms of CO2 mitigation, zero use of artificial chemicals, environmental impact and efficiency of the entire value chain. From the seed to the distribution of the products to the final consumer, the objective is to create biological products with low environmental impact and accessible to the growing population.
Sensefinity’s Internet of Cargo will be key to providing digitalization of the supply-chain to provide efficient food preservation avoiding waste.
